Alesong Wins 2 Medals at the 2025 Oregon Beer Awards

Alesong Brewing & Blending won two medals at last week’s 2025 Oregon Beer Awards (OBA) ceremony, one of only a handful of breweries to earn more than one. The Oregon Beer Awards recognizes the most outstanding beers and breweries in Oregon, with professional judges sorting through a double-blind competition of nearly 1,100 entries from 100 breweries across the state to award medals in 27 categories.

Alesong took home a silver for Oak & Ember in the “barrel-aged stouts” category and a bronze for Cinnamon Roll Maestro in the “barrel-aged beers” category, showing their expertise across the barrel-aged beer disciplines. Oak & Ember is a rich and chocolate-forward imperial stout aged in Henry McKenna 10-year bourbon barrels and a wonderful representation of Alesong’s expertise at crafting decadent bourbon-barrel-aged stouts. Cinnamon Roll Maestro takes Alesong’s toffee-forward, English barleywine, ages it in Westward Whiskey barrels and then finishes the blend on whole vanilla beans and cinnamon for an unmistakable pastry essence.

“We’re biased of course, but we believe the Oregon beer community is producing the best beer in the country and we’re honored to be recognized again this year by our peers for all the hard work and passion we put into our craft” said Brian Coombs, Alesong cofounder and production manager.
